Hi! We are Jose Chavez and Allyse Bogue, co-owners of JC Stoneworks. We are a husband and wife team, with a passion for creativity in all things STONE!
We met in 2016, when Allyse took a Business Development roll with another granite company that Jose worked at. Jose had already been in the industry for 12 years and worked as the Shop Manager. We fell in love, quit our jobs with a business idea to install countertops for other fabricators, $1000 to our names and newly purchased old 2005 Gold Econo Van.
Small side jobs turned to big contracts and next thing you know, we had our own shop and have been a full blown fabrication business all within a span of a year from meeting each other. During that time, we have expanded our family, and call this a true family business.
Working together is easy. The secret to making it work when working together: 'Divide and Conquer' is our go-to strategy. While we both operate the business day-to-day basis, we are diligent about not treading on each other's turf. Our skill sets are perfect complements. Allyse focuses on ideas, sales, finances, HR, marketing and the strategic direction of the company. Jose handles all operations, and is a great people person.
When we aren't working, you can find our family spending time outside camping, traveling to Hawaii and Mexico, and anything including outdoor and watersports.
JC Stoneworks works to create a company culture that sustains a creative, humble, and independent workforce and encourages a healthy work-life balance. Our employees have opportunity to help small businesses grow, attend events, share their work, and take time off to volunteer or learn new skills.
We believe what makes us different makes us stronger. Building a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable organization is good for our teams, our customers and our community. We empower each other to bring unique perspectives and experience to work, and we continually seek new ways to do so.
